I am writing to protest about the way hens are treated in many parts of Europe.
They are kept the hens in very small cages or 'Bateries'. Fire or six cages are put on top of each other for farmers. Usually there are a lot of hens in each cages Hens are treated for farmers in cruel way. Spread are in dining parasites. The result is that cages are so smalled that the hens can't flap their wings a clean their feathers.
In my opinion, I think hens should be treated equally as humans. We should all try to buy free - range eggs, not eggs from battery hens.
